Bonaire Path Improvements

Overview

This project will convert Bonaire Path East to an urban paved roadway.  The project will include watermain extension and railroad crossing improvements to extend the City’s Quiet Zone to include that crossing. Union Pacific Railroad will be installing new crossing material as well as signals and cross arms at this crossing. The Quiet Zone implementation will be done after final construction is complete.

Latest Updates

  • Currently Rosemount is waiting for Union Pacific Railroad to complete the installation of new crossing material along with poles and cross arms.  This improvement will allow the rail crossing to become part of the quiet zone in Rosemount.  That work is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2022.

Proposed Schedule

Construction start - May, 2019

Railroad improvement construction - Summer 2020
