STAR Community

The City of Rosemount has earned certification as a 3-Star Community, recognized for sustainability leadership for 2015-17. Rosemount is the first city in Minnesota to receive recognition from STAR Communities for its participation in the STAR Community Rating System (STAR), which evaluates the livability and sustainability of U.S. communities. It is also the smallest community nationwide to receive certification.

Certification was issued in March 2015. The City Council will review the findings from the year-long process to determine additional actions that will strengthen Rosemount’s sustainability efforts and maintain the community’s quality of life in the years ahead.
