145th Street Pedestrian Improvements

The 145th Street Pedestrian Improvements project involves the construction of pedestrian facilities at the railroad crossing on the north side of 145th Street W.  Construction has begun on the sidewalk near the western set of railroad tracks and the reconstruction of pedestrian ramps at Brazil Avenue.  However, the sidewalk will be closed until the railroad panels on the eastern tracks have been reinstalled with the track replacement project by Union Pacific, and the City sidewalk can be constructed adjacent to that improvement.  The sidewalk on the south side of 145th Street W. will be constructed with the 145th Street Pavement Rehabilitation Project, anticipated in 2023.
