DCTC offers a number of options for new or seasoned business owners, including classes in Law, Sales, Finance, Marketing, Business Planning, and more. The Entrepreneurship/Small Business program offers two Certificate programs with a package of classes to suit your needs. The Continuing Education department also offers classes in Business & Management, Computers, and Writing. Classes are available at either the Rosemount DCTC campus or the location at Partners in Higher Education in Apple Valley.

The Partners in Higher Education campus combines the resources of two colleges and one university—Dakota County Technical College, Inver Hills Community College, and Saint Mary's University of Minnesota—at a single convenient location. They offer a full range of diplomas and certificates as well as associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees.
