Public Fire Education Mission

Rosemount Fire Department is committed to saving life and property through prevention and education. We visit schools, offer tours of our facilities, train kids using a portable "smoke house" to demonstrate how to evacuate a burning building, and host a public open house each October during Fire Prevention Week

Due to safety concerns from the COVID-19 pandemic, we will not be hosting our 2020 Open House or be able to visit schools for in-person education. We urge you to take time to watch a video, create an exit plan, and review kitchen safety with the kids in your life. Use the links below to learn about this year's theme of "Fire Safety in the Kitchen".
