Preliminary 2019 budgets

On September 18, 2018, the Rosemount City Council approved preliminary budgets for the City for 2019. The proposal would increase annual property taxes by $42 on the median valued home in Rosemount, which is $279,300.

The Council will hold a public hearing on the budgets during its regular meeting that begins at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4. The final version must be approved before the end of December.

Approved 2018 budgets

On December 5, 2017, the Rosemount City Council approved final budgets for the City in 2018. The proposal will lead to an estimated increase of $31 for the year in property taxes on the median-value home ($260,450).

The City Council also approves a ten-year Capital Improvement Plan to provide long-term planning for major projects.
